The  Golden Hands Awards  were created to recognize and celebrate the outstanding service providers in our industry who embody these qualities. We’re incredibly honored to introduce the inaugural recipients of this prestigious award. Lana has been a level 7 Artistic Designer at DePasquale Spa for 32 years. She considers it a privilege to care for her clients, many of whom she has supported through various stages of their lives. Known for her dedication, passion, and drive, Lana sets a high standard of quality in her craft, earning the trust of her clients who often say “do whatever you feel is best” when in the chair. It’s the creative freedom and connection with her clients that Lana truly cherishes.

Omar has been a hairdresser for 20 years and joined Rumors Salon 2 ½ years ago. As a former U.S. Army member, Omar brings precision, professionalism, and dedication to his craft—qualities instilled during his service. After serving his country, his stepmom encouraged him to pursue Hairdressing, which he practiced tirelessly on mannequins to perfect his skills. Hairdressing is more than a career to him – it’s an ability to transform hair while boosting clients’ confidence. Not to mention, it’s how he met his wife!

Alexis has been a trusted professional since May 2014, dedicating more than a decade to her craft and to the clients she serves with care and precision. At Bare Skin Waxing, she is a cornerstone of the brand—known not only for her exceptional skill and attention to detail but also for the warmth and compassion she shares with every client. What fuels her passion is the confidence she helps people discover in themselves, and she takes pride in creating a welcoming, uplifting experience at every appointment. Her commitment to excellence, her deep connection with clients, and her embodiment of Bare Skin Waxing’s values make her an outstanding honoree for this award.

‍Jennifer Corbett, SkinSpirit

Jennifer has been working as a Physician Assistant for the past 16 years. Considered one of the foundational providers at SkinSpirit, she helped the company grow from the original two clinics in Palo Alto and Walnut Creek to more than 50 locations nationwide. Her practice focuses on anti-aging combination therapies - utilizing an array of injectables, lasers & lights, ultrasound, microneedling, threadlifts and medical grade skincare to create & customize long term treatment plans for her clients. She focuses on providing the best care that is medically backed & scientifically sound – allowing her patients to age seamlessly.

‍Danielle Schissel, Live Hydration

Danielle has been working at Live Hydration since October 2023. She always treats patients with care and respect and her confidence skills play a huge role in making patients feel comfortable. Danielle is known for looking to challenge herself and finding new ways of creating meaningful experiences for everyone. She enjoys connecting with her patients and hearing from them in a less chaotic environment than in a hospital.

‍Tien Truong, Polished Club

Tien has been a Senior Stylist at Chao Nail + Bar in Nashville Tennessee for nearly 5 years. Recognized as one of the salon’s top nail artists, Tien specializes in Multi Flex Gels from Luminary Systems, which is their best-selling service. His daily schedule is consistently 95% booked with families visiting the salon specifically for him. As his manager said, moms and daughters often wait for Tien’s service rather than choosing a quicker alternative with another artist. They are impressed by his speed and precision.
Fun fact: his favorite color is green, and he loves incorporating its many shades into his creative work.

‍Nicole Andreola, Rescue Spa

Nicole has been an aesthetician and has been at Rescue Spa for 2 1/2 years. She loves making people feel seen, heard & giving people a safe space to take time for themselves. Facials & working out were the 1st things she did for herself after having children. And at 40 years old, she decided she wanted to go to school to become an aesthetician and it was one of the best decisions she says she’d ever made. She stepped into her power & took a leap of faith & now she’s here getting this award.

Hailey has been in the hair industry for 28 years! She loves making her guests feel special by doing to color and highlights, and is thankful for all her guests that have been with her for so many years

Elazar has been a Barber at Made Man barbershop’s West Side Chelsea location since 2013. He enjoys working with his co-workers and admires the welcoming atmosphere they create together. His consistency and commitment to his craft make him an excellent barber, keeping clients coming back for their next cut.
