Cher Harris serves as the President of the Club Division for The Houstonian Hotel, Club and Spa and currently oversees The Houstonian Club and Trellis Spa.

Cher joined the Houstonian Club as fitness director in 2007, and then served as assistant general manager for 10 years before being named General Manager in 2017 and then the President of the Club Division in October of 2021. She has over 30 years of club leadership experience, providing direction for managers, trainers, instructors, therapists, racquet sports professionals, dieticians, locker room staff, accountants, engineers, HR, and IT personnel in large fitness facilities around the country.

She has a master’s degree in Kinesiology from Indiana University and is an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist.

Cher says her fitness philosophy variety is the spice of life. She currently loves to strength train, participate in yoga, hike, and mountain biking. She believes that fitness should be fun and make you feel good on the inside and on the outside. Her adventures have taken her to Nepal where she climbed to the base camp of Mt. Everest with her father and then Machu Picchu with her nephew.

Her personal time is spent traveling the world with her husband, Bryan and her daughter, Kennedy.
