Laura Dulay always dreamed of owning a salon. Today, she owns three thriving businesses in central Florida—proof that her path, though winding, led exactly where it was meant to.
Originally from New Jersey, Laura moved to Orlando to study at the Joe Blasco Makeup Center and pursue a beauty career under sunnier skies. She quickly built a successful freelance career working with brands like Home Shopping Network, Wella, and Miller Brewing, traveling globally as a makeup artist and stylist.
After starting a family, she pivoted to salon ownership. She joined the Ritz-Carlton salon to learn luxury service standards, earned her cosmetology license at Aveda Institute Winter Park, and eventually opened the first Salon Dulay in 2012. She launched two more locations during the 2020 pandemic—and all three continue to grow.
Laura’s passion is people. She finds joy in coaching and being present for her team, helping them grow into confident professionals and leaders.
Outside the salon, she’s a dedicated single mom and adventurous scuba diver—often diving with sharks alongside her daughter. Her next goal: becoming an educator to inspire and develop leadership in other salon owners.
