After joining Advent in 2014, Douglas Hallstrom took a hiatus in 2016 to support the executive team at Advent's portfolio company Unit4 and to run a start-up. Based in the London office since rejoining in 2018, Douglas has worked on Advent's investments in Medius, Nexi, Planet, Shift Technology, Unit4, Xplor Technologies (formerly Transaction Services Group), and Zenoti.

Previously, he worked at Bain & Company in London and Toronto. Douglas holds a B.Sc. with first class honors from the University of St Andrews.
