Manda Mason and Lauren Vesler are two Ohio-born sisters who grew up in a family-owned business and always knew one day they wanted to start one of their own. In 2015, they opened The W Nail Bar, a natural nail salon that has scaled to 14 locations in three cities across Ohio and Indiana.

Manda Mason has 15 years of sales experience and spent eight years as a professional entertainer. She began her journey as a lead singer at 17. Her talent and determination landed her a recording contract with Universal Records. Before opening The W Nail Bar in 2015, Manda worked in sales at First Data, where she managed many of the biggest accounts and rose to one of the top performers year over year. Ten years ago, she decided to put herself back through night school and earned a degree in cosmetology. While in school, Manda saw firsthand the opportunities within the stale nail salon industry. The W was about filling voids she saw in the market with a clean, fun, and customer service-based nail salon. Along with that, Manda and Lauren wanted to create a safe space for nail techs to work and feel valued and cared for.
